ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome!
My name is Joanne King and I have been a qualified Art Therapist and mental health specialist for over 10 years.
I work with adults, children and families by using art as a creative medium to help express their feelings and emotions in a safe, non-judgemental, confidential therapeutic space. I have a clinical practice in Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas.
I also provide workshops and training in mental health and creative therapies.
My experience
My professional training is in Jungian and Freudian Art Psychotherapy. I like to work in an integrative way which means that I use my skills to adapt to individual needs in the session and can also work in a person-centred way.
I am a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and fully adhere to their ethical framework and guidelines.
